Never Apart - Concept

How To Play: 

Move with Arrow Keys 

Pick up objects using the force by clicking and dragging them around with the mouse button.

Disclosure:

-After the asteroid game when the screen goes black it is supposed to be a cutscene it works in unity but idk what happens when I export it. I have uploaded the video for you to see. Please check out the video it is essential to the flow of the game. 

-Also, the game is only a couple scenes once you get to the end where the game is black and white and just drawn that is the end of the prototype. 

- When you reach the scene where you cant move out of a particular space there is supposed to be text there "Oh no it was a trap!!!(Escape the prison ship by using the force to move the crate (dark object) by dragging and clicking with mouse. hint: kill the gaurd and break the control panel (orange block) by hitting it with the crate, in order to escape)"

- The next scene after that is supposed to say "The escpae hatch is all the way on the ceiling. (Escape the room by using the force to build a stair case with the crates to get to the hatch (orange thing)"

- Then at the end if you click the buttom right corner is should restart the demo. but it is also suposed to have the text

End of the prototype

Upcoming:

- plan to finally make cut scenes (I really think my cut scenes will make the project)

- add more detail to the art maybe add shooting mechanics to the last scene

Disclosure:

I recently started working a full time summer camp counselor job. The only time i have to work on this project is at night and by then i am very tired. I am unsure if i will be able to complete this project by the jam deadline. Please still stay updated though I do plan on finishing this project eventually.

What Works: 

- the mini game in between the first dialog and the player can move to next scene by walking.

Whats Not working:

- Some of the UI is not showing up properly either so please look at the instructions for help if you get stuck. 

- I have the cut Scenes working but for some reason i cant export it correctly?!

This is a game I plan on making about working together in order to survive. I plan on the game being a playable short story about two rebels on the run who find themselves in a sticky situation. I hope that development goes well and you guys enjoy.

Prototype: I just wanted to work out how cut scenes would be incorporated. I really want it to be a story game so its heavy on the cutscenes and art but i also want it to still be a playable game and i expect to add more minigames as like in the beginning before you crash there is a quick minigame to be played of dodging asteroids. I am worried because i don't have the best art skills and i have high expectations and I'm not sure ill be able to achieve what i want.
